The comments are being cut off on the right hand side. See here http://www.lndcentral.com/article.php/20040430153814518#comments
I'm using IE6 on WinXP. |

Same here. IE 6 and Firefox on Win2k Pro.
Also, if I include "Target="Blank" in a link, it is stripped out. I add this so someone can open up the link and still have the Blog open as well. |

1 - Comments being cut off. Firefox doesn't have the problem ,-) For IE, a quick fix is to set your preferences to "Flat".
I'll try to find out what the problem is.
2 - Now THAT is a feature. A security feature. Geeklog by default severely restricts the use of HTML tags since nasty stuff can be done just by using HTML. You can have different HTML-tag - allow-lists for users and admins. You can also restrict the use of tag attributes for users and admins. Seems that by default target=".." isn't allowed for non-admins. Will change that. |

yeah the target is restricted by default. Dirk likes it that way, he hates _blank.
See this post a geeklog.net for the way to fix the nested comments error.

Lastly I think that at the footer for your site you say powered by GL, thats great. I think showing the version you are running is not needed and could become a security issue for you.
Cheers

| Neal, was the link PureEdge? I didn't get around to managing the site much this week. Just got back from a weekend trip and approved that link. |
